About Us
Quality Human Service Professionals is a company dedicated to providing human service agencies and special education schools in Massachusetts with enthusiastic, energetic and educated staff from the UK, Ireland, and other English speaking countries. If you have direct care or teaching assistant vacancies to fill, and you want dedicated, quality employees who care, then you need Quality Human Service Professionals.
Our applicants are placed in qualifying agencies and schools for a minimum of two years at a time. They work in entry level professional positions, such as residential counselors, case managers, teaching assistants and employment specialists. All of our applicants are required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, such as psychology, and prior experience working with special needs populations. Quality Human Service Professionals provides a comprehensive screening process including evaluation of a detailed application form, interviews, and written testing. Participating agencies are provided with all of the applicants' information for the final screening and selection of applicants. We collect written references for our applicants. Your agency may wish to contact these references directly and confirm their assessment of your applicant.
Quality Human Service Professionals can meet with your recruiter or hiring managers to determine what type of applicants would be suitable for your organization, the type of positions that you have available and details such as pay and available shifts. Some agencies may ask to receive fifteen applications, and say that they will employ the first ten that accept their offer, other agencies may have a system set up for international recruits and want to receive three a month on an on-going basis, other agencies may prefer to receive a batch of recruits every September, or try it once with a small number to see how it benefits your agency. The time between receiving an application and making a hiring decision is up to you and your agency. However the quicker you make a decision the better, as your applicant may possibly have more than one offer of employment to consider.
Qualified applicants are asked to make a minimum commitment of two years. They apply for an H1-B professional status visa which is valid for up to three years. This visa is renewable for a further three years if the agency and their employee decide to extend their period of employment. Quality Human Service Professionals is partnered with the law firm of Maged & Rost, one of Massachusetts leading immigration law firms. Maged & Rost have extensive experience working with H1-B visa applications in the human service field of employment and will work directly with the hiring agency and their applicants, removing the anxiety out of the immigration process.
Not only are our applicants educated and enthusiastic, but they are eager to learn about their profession and American practices. They come to America for an educational and cultural experience, hoping to take that experience back to their home country after their stay in Massachusetts. While here, they are unlikely to have commitments outside of work, such as school, family and another job, making them focused on you, their primary employer.
Quality Human Service Professionals will act as a liaison between the agency and their new employee until their arrival in the USA. In addition, we will provide ongoing consultation and support to the agency and the applicants during their stay in Massachusetts. Once you have chosen the applicants that you desire, Quality Human Service Professionals will make an offer of employment to the applicants on your behalf. This process may take up to six months for final approval and will depend on the qualifications of the applicant, the position that is offered, the agency's status as a CAP exempt employer, and the current processing times by the Immigration Service. Also processing times and the availability of H1-B visas depend on the time of year.
